School Meals

Our school meals are provided by Caterlink, a catering company that specialises in delivering delicious and balanced meals to schools across the region. At Blakeney and Pillowell, the meals are cooked on-site in our own kitchens, ensuring that they are fresh. At Walmore Hill, our meals are delivered daily from the Blakeney kitchen, guaranteeing the same level of quality and freshness.

Universal Free School Meals for Reception to Year 2

All children in Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 automatically receive a free, healthy school meal under the government’s Universal Free School Meals program. This initiative, separate from the Pupil Premium, ensures that young learners start their school journey well-nourished and ready to "Be the best you can be."

Even if your child receives a universal free school meal, it is essential you still apply for free school meals if you are eligible. This means that the school will still receive the FSM funding to support your child.

Your child may be eligible for free school meals if you qualify for any of the following: Income Support. income-based Jobseeker's Allowance. income-related Employment and Support Allowance.
